Amazing!

I posted on fb page earlier in the week looking for someone to get our old family movies into DVD/USB format, Garry done just that for us and with quick turn around! I can’t thank him enough for helping us to be able to watch old family moments again and see loved ones who have past… I was apprehensive about giving old movies away to be converted as they are so special but I honestly couldn’t be happier. Massive thanks to Garry, great service & made the whole process super easy

63 year old cine reels

called ahead with my details arranged a drop of time & day 3 days later all completed just watched my mum & dads wedding & so many other forgotten stuff my dad filmed on his pride & joy camera he had the quality of the dvds is brilliant considering they are 63 years old reels a brilliant job plus i received back extra dvd back up copies as part of the process

Revitalising memories

Gary offers an efficient and friendly service. I was looking to get a coup of old cine reels put onto an USB stick. Gary broke down the price for me. His package includes a backup of the cine films to DVD and DVD back up of the USB. All this is fully explained. When I handed the reels in I was told the work would take five days, however the work was finished after three days. Gary then takes the time to explain how to use the USB stick. In these short films I was able to remember some mannerisms of some people in the films, you can't get this from a still photo. I would have no hesitations in recommending this service.

Family memories

I would like to thank Garry so much for his help in being able to save a lot of family memories to DVD. I have been able to share some of these memories through this week with some of my daughters and will look forward to sharing more with the rest of the family this Christmas.

quality finish and dvds

just getting round to leaving a review from christmas 2020 had multiple tapes put on to dvds for all the family as christmas gifts of when we were young growing up my dad always had a camcorder in his hand anywhere he was bless him sadly hes no longer with us but the memories now live on thanks to garry bringing so many family memories back to us to view.
all the family loved their dvds as i did i cant express highly enough how garry went out of his way to help to ensure we all received our memories back for christmas as happy memories for all of us.

Family memories

Couldn't be anymore happy with the service and quality of the product provided.
My father passed away this year and had recently uncovered some old vhs tapes so I thought to get these memories preserved.
Garry made the process stress free and made me feel these precious tapes where in good hands.
Just popped the first DVD in and the memories came flooding back, a tear in my eye and everyone else that will see these videos. Just what we need during these hard times.

i highly recommend to all was very informative and friendly to deal with.

searched online for a company to put my tapes onto pendrive and dvd for all the family to view back found tape transfer on yell .com as garry was local to me i decided to book an appointment to drop my tapes off plus also see who i was giving my most treasured family memories to i must admit such a friendly guy with a true knowledge of his craft no nonsense like a few i called with very exaggerated prices.
he gave me a price and how long it would take and showed me samples of other completed projects he was working on for other customers so made the decision to go ahead.

professional & speedy & quality service

sadly lost my sister deborah to covid19 so contacted tape2dvd and had all our precious memories from many tapes my father had of us growing up converted to dvd explained what i needed done with additional 3 copies each for family
speedy service only took 1 week to have 25 vhs tapes completed for me now i can relive my youth i cant thank garry enough for such an excellent service i have watched all the dvds back only thing i can say is thank you i am one very happy guy

Old VHS Tapes to DVD

My old VHS tapes to DVD. What an excellent service, Garry was so professional, explained everything in detail and job completed well within time agreed. (Within his 7 day deadline). Was delighted with the finished product, well presented dvd cases and backup CDs so your memories are never lost for ever. VHS to DVD/USB transfer

I needed an old VHS transferred to a USB to allow me to watch it again. My initial enquiry was answered very quickly and I was given a full breakdown of the cost. I dropped my VHS off the next day and received the DVD and USB transfer back within a few days. The service was really quick and I got a text letting me know that it was ready earlier than originally discussed. Garry was great at explaining what products I would be receiving and even how to view the products. The quality of the USB was great and it was lovely to watch old memories again. I wish I had done this years ago. The price was very reasonable and I would 100% recommend this service. I received an exceptionally friendly service and it was really lovely to see how passionate Garry is about his work. I would definitely use this service again.

CINE FILM

Took my mum & dads old cine film to tape transfers we found clearing out their loft amazing garry was able to save them all was fantastic to watch back many forgotten memories with mum & dad who have sadly passed all the family were amazed to watch back so many forgotten & unknown memories that my dad had filmed of us all.
What can i say about garry hes a top bloke who knows his business he has made all my family very happy.
Need to look out all our own tapes now be back soon garry with many more cherished memories for you for conversions.

old 8mm film

found multiple old 8mm reels in my grandfathers attic had no idea what was on them so looked on the web viewed yell chose tapetransfer at once as garry's reviews are amazing so called ahead for price & when i could drop them off received back within 5 days of dropping them all off all i can say is i am another very happy customer.
turns out i was in many of the 8mm film filmed by my grandfather when i was a kid & many many more family stuff happy days as i didnt know this existed.

called ahead to arrange a drop off time and day then dropped off my reels to garry as a rush project for christmas gifts for the family went out of his way to have them done for me including extra copies for the family nothing was a problem for garry to do received them back 3 days before christmas excellent quality and a very nice guy to deal with

details passed onto me by my sister who has used garry's services several times for transfer of media took my tapes to garry 4 days later all done and collected watched the dvds back they are fantastic quality for old tapes very professional cases also included for each dvd discs plus back up copies of each dvd free of charge as part of the service also cant express enough how happy i am using tape transfers and garry is such a helpful person he says what he can do and does it.

fantastic quick turn around

decided to have a few of my wives old family tapes put on dvd for valentines day as an extra special surprise decided this as a last minute idea but garry got the job done for me went out of his way to get them all done for me for the 13th with a day still spare it does not get any better than this the guys a gentleman and all round nice guy who helps all he can to get the job done

last minute gift for xmas

decided to have all our old tapes put on dvd as a special xmas pressie for my parents very glad i had it done now garry went out of his way to have them all done for me before xmas dropped off 1 week later everything was completed for me 2 days before xmas nothing was a problem for garry to do for me also kept me informed of the progress
very happy parents they were over the moon viewing so many memories back and me also

Best In The Business , even delivered back for me as i dont keep well and also shielding

took a long while to trust someone to hand over all my treasured family tapes and reels to for to put on dvd for me i was so scared incase anything happened to them and they were lost forever.
garry's name was passed onto me by a friend who had recently used his services and already received work back form garry had completed for them i am so glad i had them done now nothing was a problem for garry to do for me and he also kept me detailed with the progress of my transfers.
due to me not keeping well garry even arranged to pick up but also went out of his way to also drop off for me as i am also shielding at no extra charge how amazing is that to do for a customer of which i did not expect.
such a true gentleman garry i thank you your a true professional and such a nice guy.

quality service and fantastic finished presentation dvds

found on the web called ahead to arrange to post out my old tapes to be converted posted out from france then posted back to me in germany.
excellent went out of his way and nothing was a problem to do for me including posting back also.

from posting tapes to garry then receiving them back it only took 15 days in total to be sent back for me such a friendly helpful person and at a amazing price for such a well presented quality finish of all dvds i received back.

best out there at amazing prices

shopped around for a transfer company for ages to transfer my tapes to dvd and also memory sticks for the family as a gift i am very pleased i found garry to do this and he was sort of local to me being as i live in stirling and being only 30mins away from me so arranged a drop off time dropped them off 8 days later all completed for me you dont get any quicker or better than this

couldnt find anyone who could transfer small sony tapes for me unless you were willing to pay 20pounds each called garry was recommended by a good friend who had used his services for tapes to dvd worked out a price for me on the phone it worked out a 3rd of anyone else price out there arranged a date and time dropped them off 1 week later all done for me also an extra copy of each dvd aswell
brilliant to deal with no hidden extras or costs very knowledgeable of his profession
